Growing organic reach and first-page Google rankings
Known for their delicious oat drinks and porridge pots, MOMA specialise in tasty and healthy food and drink made from the humble oat. With a focus on sustainable British oats, their products can be found in supermarkets and coffee shops across the UK.
When we began working with MOMA in April 2023, they asked us to help grow their share of voice in Google Organic SERPs. Whilst their website already performed well for branded search, MOMA had the ambition to compete for highly competitive unbranded search terms like “oat milk” and “porridge oats”.
Varn worked alongside the MOMA team to implement technical fixes, content optimisations and an off-page link strategy to improve rankings, focusing on those that were most important for the brand. By summer 2024, Varn had helped MOMA reach the first page of Google for key product terms including “oat milk”, “barista oat milk”, and “porridge oats”.
