Our Varn Digital Marketing Future Talent Programme is a 2 year scheme, where you will gain experience and exposure across all elements of SEO, GEO, data analytics and search marketing in order to help you to find out where your passion lies.

You will discover where your strengths are and gain insights into how you want to develop in your future career.

Our team is an eclectic bunch of strategists, mathematicians, data analysts, statisticians, and technical SEO experts.

You may end up being all of these people, or someone who specialises in one particular element that you excel at and fall in love with. Our Future Talent Programme is designed to help you explore how you want to develop and is an opportunity to gain exposure to all elements of our business. Our agency are technical and data specialists and we will work closely with you to help you develop your analytical skills and carve and create your future role at the agency.

Develop excellence in search marketing

Your 1st year will be spent working across various projects across our service areas. A mix of training, development and hands on experience will give you the 360 view to develop excellence across search marketing as a discipline and help you decide where to focus your development for your second year.

Throughout the future talent programme you will be working with our amazing clients that span from large healthcare companies through to financial services, unique ethical clothing companies and even sailing businesses.

This innovative and creative workspace is set in the middle of the Varn woodland in Bradford on Avon, and focuses on promoting employee wellbeing, celebrating the natural world and as well as offsetting our carbon footprint many times over. The woodland office go-kart is always good fun.

Anyone like camper vans and paddle boarding?

We provide our employees the flexibility of new workspaces and are challenging the conventional office set up. We have created the CamperVarn, our ‘mobile office’ that the team can take out and about, taking in new views and thinking differently as a result of being ‘out of office’, as well as our beach ‘office’ a wonderful place for our team to stay and work in Devon, right on the beach for one week every year. We also spend time as a team using the office paddleboards and kayaks (free for the team to borrow any time), river swimming, having monthly socials which span from pottery to board games, cooking classes to pilates, and generally making sure we all enjoy life and work.

VarnFest Future Leaders returned on 13th of May 2026, hosted at our Varn woodland office.

This is a personal development day filled with inspiring & practical talks, building skills needed for future leadership – ideal for people in the first 0-5 years of their career. We have talks and workshops from business owners & directors, sharing advice & leadership lessons for your future career.

Who are you?

You may be a graduate, but we are also keen to talk to anyone with an interest in working in the data and technical areas of digital marketing and search engine marketing and you are looking to really kick start your career in this field.
You will ideally have some understanding of search marketing and SEO techniques and tools.
You will have good Excel and excellent data analytical skills.
You will have excellent numeracy & data analysis skills, supported with the ability to write and communicate very well. You contribute to our content creation, writing blogs and communicating with clients.

Varn Digital Marketing Future Talent Programme Benefits

Salary from £25,000 plus, (with frequent performance reviews so talented people can progress quickly through to more senior roles and salary levels in your 2 year programme)

On top of your salary, you can also expect:

10% annual bonus if we hit agency targets.
