Our Objective

We started working with Woolacombe Bay when they approached Varn looking for SEO services in the first half of 2021. Bookings of their holiday accommodation in Devon had dropped, following the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. The project had several key aims which included the following: 

  • Driving increased traffic to their website, from organic Google searches
  • Improving online sales and revenue from organic search traffic
  • Reducing their Google Ads spend, by improving the performance of the website throughout organic search engine rankings

The Results

As of the end of 2022, we had already seen a large improvement in organic search rankings for this client, following a bespoke SEO audit and subsequent ongoing on-site and off-site SEO services.

2022 also saw a rise in bookings and revenue driven by this improved SEO and resulting increase in organic traffic, with revenue up by more than 100% compared to their last successful pre-pandemic year.

We are proud to have achieved an increase in rankings for ‘Holiday Parks’ keyword from position 88 to 4.
